SELLING A SALVAGE BIKE
Here is a guide on selling your salvage bike.
"Honesty is the Best Policy"
Firstly you should always try to be as accurate as possible when advertising your vehicle and be completely honest when it comes to describing it.
Highlight all the BEST Features
You should try and list as many of the bikes good features as possible, if it has air-conditioning for example or a cd player, but remember to stick to what will help sell it and not just list every part of the bike!
A Good Picture Attracts Attention
The most important thing to remember is to get a good photo of the bike, make sure it is clear and bright. If the bike you're selling has some form of damage then don't be afraid of showing it in the pictures, people want to see what they intend on buying.
Make Sure the Price is Right
When pricing your bike try to be competitive, if it is priced too high you may not attract any interest. Have a look at bikes of a similar age and condition to get an idea of what your bike may be worth.
Clean It Up
If possible try and valet your bike, you may not think it but this could save you hundreds of pounds, the better a car looks the more likely you are of getting a sale. Some people may be put off if the bike doesn't look like it has been looked after.
